Did You Sign the Ombudsmen Petition?

The purpose of the Ombudsmen is to ensure the integrity of the election and certify that every vote counts! A representative from the Florida Ombudsmen office, which overseas the Dept. of Business & Professional Regulation of Condominiums, will monitor the 4Midtown election and voting activities to secure the validity of the process.

We must submit a petition to the Ombudsmen office, stating we want them onsite to monitor the 2024 ~ 4Midtown Board Elections!

15% of the building’s units (a minimum of 62) are required to sign the petition. Depending on how your unit is owned will dictate how you complete the petition, and whether or not you need a voting certificate on file, with the management office. Is your unit titled in multiple names, trust, LLC or Corporation?

You will need a voting certificate on file. The Management Office is required to retain copies of voting certificates from prior years. However, please make sure you have one on file with them and that it is up-to-date! Reach out ASAP to ensure and upload a copy with us here. We want to ensure that all copies submitted to Management are actually on file at the time of the election.
